We work with over 500 farm shops, delis and food Halls across the UK. Our products are shipped only by road from Italy to our warehouses in Thatcham, Newbury Berkshire, it is from here that we ship directly to our customers across the UK
About the Warehouse Operative
We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our team in Thatcham. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent position within a growing company offering a friendly and supportive working environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Warehouse Operative

• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Load and unload deliveries using manual handling equipment
• Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records
• Ensure the warehouse is clean, tidy, and safe at all times
• Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies
• Assist with goods-in and goods-out processes
• Work collaboratively with other team members to meet daily targets

Requirements of the Warehouse Operative

• Highly reliable with a strong work ethic and a commitment to punctuality
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and inventory handling
• Ability to follow processes and instructions with minimal supervision
• Positive, proactive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
• Forklift (Counter balance and Reach) is preferable but not essential

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is essential.
• Familiarity with counter balance and reach is essential and up to date certificates will be required..
• Strong communication skills are essential for effective teamwork and coordination within the warehouse setting.
