JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency in the warehouse environment. This role involves various tasks related to the handling of materials, including loading and unloading, picking and packing, and ensuring that inventory is accurately managed.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Familiarity with materials handling techniques is advantageous.
  • Experience with Mintsoft or similar inventory management systems is a plus.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) safely.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge is beneficial for equipment operation and maintenance tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are essential for maintaining accurate inventory records.

Responsibilities
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Not required.
  • Utilise a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory levels and managing stock movements.
  • Handle materials with care, ensuring proper stocking procedures are followed.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Engage in heavy lifting as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Participate in shipping and receiving activities, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
  • Assist with picking and packing orders accurately for dispatch.
  • Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring proper handling techniques are employed.
  • Perform regular inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy.
  • Apply mechanical knowledge as needed for basic equipment maintenance.
