OVERVIEW

Due to the growth of the business we are seeking a dedicated and hardworking employee to join our warehouse team. This role will help assist with the picking and checking of stock as well as supporting our daily goods in/out department where needed. Other duties will include general housekeeping and quality control of stock

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 40 kg) consistently throughout the shift.
  • A valid FLT counterbalance license is essential
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of goods as needed.
  • Assist with goods in/goods out to ensure that customers receive their orders well packaged and picked correctly.
  • Load and unload materials from lorries using a forklift and by hand, ensuring safe handling practices are followed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Operate forklifts safely when necessary, adhering to all safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow throughout the warehouse.
  • Assisting the tyre fitting team with their duties by picking wheels and tyres.
  • Working with your team leader and/or supervisor to make sure that customers are receiving their orders on time and accurately.
