Warehouse Operative / Trainee Fabricator
Location: Gainsborough, Lincolnshire
Pay: £7.55 – £12.50 per hour (depending on experience)

Hours: Full-time, Permanent

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm (1-hour lunch)
  • Friday: 8:00am – 4:30pm (30-minute lunch)
  • Paid 10-minute morning break
  • Occasional overtime available

About the Role
This role is a great opportunity for someone looking to take their first step into a hands-on career. You’ll join our friendly team as a Warehouse Operative / Trainee Fabricator, supporting the day-to-day running of our warehouse while learning valuable trade skills in plastic fabrication and production.
You don’t need previous experience — just a positive attitude, reliability, and the willingness to learn. Full training will be provided across multiple departments including saws, CNC, packing, and fabrication.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Responsibilities

WAREHOUSE & GENERAL DUTIES

  • Keeping the inside and outside of the building clean and tidy (including hoovering offices and emptying bins).
  • Ensuring the warehouse is organised, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Putting stock away and helping with regular stock checks.
  • Assisting the saw, fabrication, CNC, and packing departments when required.
  • General labouring including sweeping, tidying, and moving materials safely.

TRAINEE FABRICATION & PRODUCTION DUTIES

  • Learning how to fabricate plastic components using hand and power tools.
  • Gaining skills in polishing, bonding, line bending, and routing.
  • Reading and working from job sheets and technical drawings.
  • Supporting the team to produce high-quality fabricated items.
