JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to materials handling, stocking, and shipping & receiving. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of materials handling processes.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous.
  • Ability to operate forklifts; certification is a plus but not mandatory as training may be provided.
  • Experience in construction or mechanical roles will be beneficial for this position.
  • Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly throughout the shift.
  • Strong attention to detail for accurate picking & packing of orders.

Responsibilities
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Manage inventory using a warehouse management system, ensuring accurate stock levels.
  • Handle materials with care, including heavy lifting and proper storage techniques.
  • Perform picking & packing duties for outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Load & unload goods from lorries, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Assist in shipping & receiving activities, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse space to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Utilise mechanical knowledge for minor repairs or maintenance of warehouse equipment as needed.
