Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY

In this exciting role, you will play a key role in ensuring the secure receipt, storage, and dispatch of our products. Your responsibilities will include receiving shipments, where you’ll inspect goods for any damage or missing items, ensuring that our inventory remains accurate. You’ll also showcase your organisational skills as you maintain an efficient and orderly warehouse environment, contributing to our success and the fulfilment of our customer lifecycle.
Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensuring that all goods that are loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork. Assisting with the unloading of vehicles.
  • Storing and rotating stock according to established procedures.
  • Stock counting.
  • Reporting any damaged or missing goods to Purchasing Manager or Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintaining equipment.
  • Following workplace health and safety rules when handling goods.
  • Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules and schedules.
  • Assisting with warehouse inventory controls.
  • Treating stock with care and concern at all times.
  • Work efficiently & effectively to meet deadlines, prioritising and managing time and resources accordingly.
  • Supporting seasonal production (felt and drainpipe-cutting, bee-brick making).
  • Any other duties the business requires.
