KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• FLT trained in both Reach and Counterbalance preferred,
• First Aid trained preferred,
• Physically fit to perform manual tasks as required,
• Computer literate in Office with ability to learn new programs,
• Numerate and logical approach to issue resolution,
• Previous experience in a logistics W/H environment ,
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Ability to implement and maintain high standards and work to continuous improvement,
• Previous experience in a logistics W/H environment

SKILLS REQUIRED – TECHNICAL AND BEHAVIOURAL

• Keen eye for detail,
• Ability to escalate issues to Team Leader or W/H Manager as required,
• Effective team player with good communication skills,
• Good time keeping
• Basic computer knowledge

QUALIFICATIONS

• NVQ or equivalent Level 1 Warehousing and storage,
• Basic IT skills,
• Experience in stock management and control measures,
• FLT trained in both Reach and Counterbalance.

OUTLINE OF ROLE

Pick and pack of equipment in W/H to instruction. Loading and unloading of vehicles.General W/H tasks as may be required.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Co-operate fully with the site safety requirements,
• Pick and pack customer orders to achieve agreed turn-round targets, dispatching orders with appropriate paperwork. Both full pallet and manual case/break picked from the racking and ground locations,
• Receive deliveries of customer stock from trailers into warehouse. Check quantities, record receipt and pass on paperwork,
• Stock loading onto vehicles with customer goods in timely manner,
• Sorting returns stock ready for Goods In,
• Put away of customer goods from the warehouse floor into the racking,
• PI checks on locations as required,
• General W/H tasks, i.e. Manual handling, WH housekeeping.
• Accurate stock handling,
• Processing of relevant W/H paperwork in an accurate and timely manner Responsible for accurate stock movements in W/H.
• Responsible for safe operation of processes in W/H environment.
• All orders picked and packed with a high level of accuracy.
