WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We have an amazing opportunity for you to join us at a leading Battery Specialist warehouse in Dodworth, Barnsley as a full-time Warehouse Operative. We have immediate starts available and impressive benefits. We are looking for dynamic people that are looking for a long term career as the business continues to grow over the next 5 years. We have a levelled pay rate structure based on skill sets and performance. We are looking at offering permanent or 3 month temporary contracts.

Working within a friendly team environment you will be sorting a variety of battery and power electronics products.

Job Duties:

• Pick, Quality Check and Pack Batteries up-to 30KGs to a set target
• Fast-paced Picking/Packing for constant periods within the working day
• Load & Unloaded Courier utilising Reach & Counterbalance
• Check/Receive/Allocate incoming stock from 3rd party suppliers
• Replenish shelves with stock
• General housekeeping duties in the warehouse as assigned
• Perform general warehouse duties in order to maintain a smooth operation
• Support Customer service team to Serve Trade counter customers
• Use common warehouse management software
• Receive/process shipments and allocate stock as needed
• Inspect and maintain equipment, reporting any faults or wear and tear
• Maintain expiring stock health
