YARD MASTER - WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE

Location: Uform | Shift: 42.5 hours, Mon–Fri, 8am to 5pm
Pay: Starting £12.61 | Type: Full-time, Permanent

ROLE SUMMARY:

Join our fast-paced warehouse team, responsible for receiving, inspecting, and booking in stock. You’ll ensure all incoming goods meet quality standards and are ready for put-away or picking.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain warehouse and yard areas to high standards of tidiness.
• Ensure bins, skips, and cages are emptied and processed promptly.
• Liaise with the skip provider to reorder and maintain availability of: Metal waste skips, General waste skips and Wood waste skips.
• Promote recycling of waste (currently cardboard and metal) to reduce landfill.
• Liaise with pallet providers to maintain adequate levels of empty pallets for daily operations.
• Ensure empty pallets are available in pallet holding areas for all Uform users.
• Promptly unload deliveries upon arrival into the yard.

✅ What You’ll Need:

• Atleast 1 year warehouse experience
• Demonstrate the ability and willingness to work flexible and/or demanding hours as determined by the needs of the business.
• An individual who will represent the best interests of the company at all times in a professional and positive manner.
• Must set an example on behaviour, attendance, safety, fairness etc.
• Ability to prioritise work and use own initiative.
• Valid Fork truck licence (Desirable)
