We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to be based at our Milton Keynes (MK7 8BL). The working pattern for this role is Monday to Friday, 1000-1800.
This is a full-time permanent position offering a salary of £31,012.92 per annum.
This is a hands-on role supporting the smooth running of our warehouse operations, with full training provided across all inbound and outbound functions.
You’ll be part of a small, close-knit team working on the Yamaha contract, handling a wide range of musical instruments from recorders to large keyboards. Some items can be heavy, so physical fitness is important.

Additional key tasks:

• Carrying out inbound, outbound, and value-added services while ensuring goods are handled safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to health and safety protocols and always wear issued PPE.
• Fulfil additional reasonable requests to support warehouse efficiency.
• Using handheld terminals and fixed PCs to manage stock and orders (training provided).
• Operating MHE equipment (Forklift, Clamp, VNA, PPT)—training available, but successful completion is required during probation.
• Follow trained manual handling techniques to prevent injuries and complete necessary paperwork according to Standard Work Instructions.
• Reporting any safety concerns, incidents, or equipment issues promptly.
• Support continuous improvement and maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Follow all company policies on absence, performance, and behaviour, aligning with company values.
• Communicate any concerns or deviations to your line manager promptly.

Key requirements

• A team player with a flexible, proactive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and take on varied tasks.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Previous warehouse experience is helpful but not essential.
• Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse systems (we use OPUS) is an advantage.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
