Responsibilities

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Warehouse Operatives will have responsibility for the daily and weekly goods in/out plans to satisfy customer demands and optimise stock and in line with operational efficiencies. The candidate will have organisational, planning and multitasking skills with the ability to balance immediate / long term workload. Also, to work as part of the banana hall as and when required

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure all goods in is unloaded in the correct manner and that the paperwork matches same ( in Stores 1 or 2)
  • Ensuring that all stock is stored in the correct location using scanners.
  • Reporting any damages or quality issues to the appropriate person
  • Liaise with the Warehouse Manager for the daily/weekly meetings to ensure this forum is an effective and fast-moving stream of information.
  • To ensure all orders are correctly picked, labelled and scanned, on time and in full with appropriate paperwork, with any shorts reported to the appropriate person.
  • To work as part of a team to ensure we are maximising the output of the warehouse team.
  • Ensuring that all site rules are always adhered to and to ensure best practices from a health and safety perspective.
  • Ensure site is audit ready at all times and to address weekly GMP (Good Manufacturing practices) issues
  • Making sure that all equipment is fit for use and any damages be reported to Warehouse Manager/supervisor
  • Ensuring weekly warehouse targets are achieved.
  • Working alongside Warehouse Manager to ensure daily and weekly DOT/DSL/QSL targets are achieved
  • Knowledge of and usage of ERP system.
  • Any other warehouse tasks as required
