Description Responsibilities include receiving and stocking all incoming materials. Pulling and shipping daily orders, including recording lot numbers on picking ticket. Perform inspection and maintenance on forklifts and hand trucks. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION: Review scheduled Purchase Orders for incoming deliveries Notify Quality Assurance on arrival of all incoming material for quality check Compare information on purchase order to information on Bill of Lading and packing list Unload trucks using either forklift Record count, pack size and lot numbers on receiving ticket Record any discrepancies in count, pack size or damage on Bill of Lading Sign necessary paperwork to acknowledge receipt of delivery Record receipt of materials in Receiving Book Store ingredients received in appropriate warehouse location Rotate stock according to First Expired lot code Restack product on pallets, if necessary Refer to Work Orders for orders to be blended during shift Check daily production schedule and blending order Pull Work Order and record start time Pull raw ingredients for the rest of the blend from the warehouse Verify weights and product numbers of ingredients pulled Record lot numbers of ingredients on Work Order Stage the raw ingredients to be blended in the Blending Staging Area Advise Quality Assurance of blends in Staging Area Pull daily orders Record lot numbers and piece count on picking ticket Verify product label, quantity, and weight of each product Palletize large shipments using stretch wrap and affix proper pallet label Place packing slip on shipment Enter shipping information into computer for all UPS and/or Fed X Ground shipments Clean work area at end of shift Inspect Truck/Trailer to ensure product safety, cleanliness, etc. Perform housekeeping tasks in warehouse as necessary Perform other related duties as assigned 1st Shift - 8:00 am - 4:30 pm - Monday thru Friday Requirements Minimum: High School Diploma or a GED 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment 2 years computer experience/knowledge Forklift experience required Preferred: High School Diploma, or two years technical college 2 years warehouse experience 2+ years food manufacturing experience 2+ years computer experience in Microsoft Suite, Google
