Alphanumeric is hiring a Warehouse Operator to work in Saint-Laurent, QC, with one of the biggest pharmaceutical manufacturing companies in the world.
In accordance with established guidelines and in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, the primary tasks of the packaging operator include: receiving, preparing, and supplying raw materials, components, bulk goods, and finished products, as well as ensuring their distribution. The warehouse operator’s duties include all cleaning, receiving, sampling, handling of components, bulk goods, and raw materials, and distribution tasks.

Candidates must be fluent in both French and English, because this role reports to stakeholders, managers and clients outside of Quebec, where the environment requires communication in English, despite the daily work being in French.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Mandatory to be fluent in French and understand English.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of theoretical and practical forklift operator training.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
• Knowledge of GMP (an asset).
• 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or related field (an asset).
• Mechanical skills and computer knowledge.

• Operating forklifts (walkie, Gerber, counterbalanced, dock stocker).
• Pallet reversal, pallet washing.
• Maintenance and servicing of equipment and work tools.
• Unpacking and cleaning equipment, handling goods, and labeling equipment.
• Packing equipment and pallet wrapping, checking and identifying equipment, and physical inventory count.
• Delivering goods (pallet movement), loading and unloading trucks, and truck verification and inspection.
• Waste and recycling handling, printing weight sheets.
• Performing basic computer transactions (including VL31N).
• May be called upon to participate in team committees as required (e.g., HSE, operational excellence, CCM, special projects, job evaluation, etc.
• May be called upon to perform training follow-up tasks (updating training curricula, combining modules, updating procedures, etc.).
