The Warehouse Operator/Backup Box Truck Driver operates company trucks to complete route deliveries and associated paperwork. This role works closely with internal departments to ensure products are delivered to customers in a timely manner while remaining compliant with Transport Canada’s Motor Carrier Division regulations. Duties include but are not limited to: Perform warehouse tasks, including shipping, receiving, and stocking Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, manlifts, pallet jacks, etc. Drive company trucks to complete route deliveries and meet delivery schedules Maneuver trucks into position for loading and unloading Comply with all truck driving rules and regulations Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and perform preventive maintenance Report defects, accidents, and violations Complete required paperwork for the company and Transport Canada’s Motor Carrier Division Communicate with Fleet Management regarding maintenance and preventive servicing of delivery trucks Perform heavy lifting (34+ kilograms / 75+ lbs.)
