Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Shop Operator, you will be responsible for:

  • Checking and controlling incoming material, identifying any quality/documentary issue and notify to supplier responsible, supporting suppliers and internal customers
  • Stocking and picking materials optimizing space and tools
  • Serving requests of material from Production line in an efficient, precise and urgency based matter
  • Serving request of material for operators, notifying missing materials
  • Performing calibration activities, certification update and preparation for repairing/resharpening
  • Using Warehouse ERP and automatic Warehouse to perform activities
  • Managing Inventory Activities.
  • Carrying out activities in compliance with the safety and quality standards defined by the company for the areas of competence.
  • Performing daily activities according to Health, Safety Environment & Quality standard.
  • Realizing material identification, execution of preliminary check of the state of the details in accordance with the applicable specifications.
  • Participating to weekly HSE & Quality communication shared by Operations Leader and Production Supervisor with all the team (safety Talk & quality Talk)
  • Suggesting actions to improve the activities carried out by him/her according to the spirit of the company’s program of continuous improvemen

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Hold a high school diploma (preferably electrical/mechanical expert)
  • Be able to understand and execute electrical/mechanical assembly drawings/specifications
  • Display knowledge and expertise to treat precision measuring instruments
  • Show computer skills (using Excel, Word, e-mail, etc.)
  • Be available to work on shifts (even on weekends if necessary)
  • Hold EU Work Permit and be fluent in Italian (oral and written)
  • Display strong attention to safety and quality detail, and good attitude to teamwor
