THE OPPORTUNITY -

The AH-64E Apache is the world’s most advanced and proven attack helicopter. It integrates innovative technologies to aid the crew in decision making, offering a new level of battlefield dominance through enhanced performance, increased situational awareness, superior survivability, and improved target detection, acquisition and engagement.
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operator, to support the AH-64E Apachehelicopter program. The Australian Apache’s will join the growing global fleet of more than 1280 aircraft operating in 18 countries, including coalition and regional partners.
This role is based in Townsville working alongside BDA and Australian Army members.

As the Warehouse Operator, you will:

  • Be a vital part of the Supply Chain Capability and contribute to the business growth strategy
  • Handle, store and distribute Defence aviation materiel
  • Ensure compliance with BDA and ADF safe warehouse operation policy’s
  • Support Disposal recommendations and action as required
  • Perform inventory checks and maintain accurate stock recording methods in accordance with Defence supply policy
  • Support the development of mitigation plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting the supply chain
  • Work closely with warehouse team in all other activity’s that arise
Responsibilities
  • Demonstrated 3 to 5 years + experience in Defence aerospace/Foreign Military Sales (FMS) supply chain management
  • Experience in Defence warehousing and distribution systems and methodologies
  • A working knowledge of the Australian Defence Force Electronic Supply Chain Manual and the application of warehousing principles
  • A strong working knowledge of Defence Aviation Logistic IT systems such as ERP SAP
  • The ability to work within a team
  • Excellent interpersonal and emotional intelligenc
