JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse/Driver to join our team. This role involves both warehouse duties and driving responsibilities, ensuring efficient operations in the handling, storage, and distribution of materials. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in warehouse operations or a similar role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with materials handling techniques and heavy lifting practices is essential.
  • Must be based within local distance
  • Experience with picking, packing, stock management, and shipping/receiving processes is advantageous.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment operation and maintenance.
  • A valid driving license is required for driving responsibilities associated with the role.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary for maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

    Pay: £12.25-£12.80 per hour

  • Forklift Operation: Operate forklifts to transport goods within the warehouse.
  • Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Maintain stock levels by organizing inventory within the warehouse and updating records using a Warehouse Management System.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
  • Build pallets for shipment, ensuring that items are securely packaged for transport.
  • Utilise mechanical knowledge to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
