Description

We are currently seeking experienced Warehouse Operator to join our team. These roles require a strong understanding of warehouse operations across all departments, including dispatch, receivables, bill of material picks, cycle counting, and loading bay activities.

Reporting directly to the Workshop & Warehouse Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Accurately picking and packing sales orders.
  • Checking and putting away incoming goods.
  • Picking job materials as required.
  • Promoting a safe working environment, including correct storage of hazardous goods and maintaining high housekeeping standards.
  • Reporting discrepant parts to the Inventory Controller.
  • Providing regular updates to the Warehouse Supervisor on store operations.
  • Assisting with the loading and unloading of goods.
  • Actively participating in 5S practices and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Recommending improvements to increase departmental efficiency.
  • Effectively coordinating priorities with a high degree of autonomy, sound judgement, and decision-making skills.

  • A valid forklift ticket
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Experience with stock control processes.
  • Proven warehouse and inventory management knowledge.
  • Basic ERP system knowledge (Epicor experience an advantage).
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • A quality-focused mindset (ISO 9000 knowledge highly regarded).
  • The ability to manage competing priorities with initiative and proactivity.
