OVERVIEW

We are seeking skilled Forklift Operators and Warehouse Staff for various contracts across Central Lanarkshire. The ideal candidates will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts within the warehouse environment. This role involves handling materials, loading and unloading goods, and ensuring accurate shipping and receiving processes. A strong emphasis on safety and attention to detail is essential for success in this position.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, along with materials handling techniques.
• Basic mathematical skills for inventory management and documentation purposes.
• Ability to work effectively in a team while also being self-motivated.
• Previous experience with warehouse management systems is advantageous.

• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Utilise warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and managing stock levels.
• Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
