Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Knauf is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operator to join our team. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor this role is responsible for distribution activities through the daily operations of the Tarneit Fulfillment Centre, in accordance with the Company’s strategic plans, operating budgets, procedures and policies.

SOME DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Loading and unloading vehicles with a large forklift as part of goods inwards/ outwards processes
  • Some manual handling to assemble loads as required
  • Ensuring Chain of Responsibility requirements are met
  • Participate in stock take functions and inventory control
  • Maintain compliance to the Management System and relevant procedures
  • Check and process orders with diligence and accuracy
  • Ensure validity and compliance within our SAP system
  • Maintain operational equipment and report any faults or damage to management
