Description Position Summary: Responsibilities include receiving and stocking all incoming materials. Pulling and shipping daily orders, including recording lot numbers on picking ticket. Perform inspection and maintenance on forklifts and hand trucks. 8-Hour 1st Shift: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm - Monday thru Friday Essential Functions of the Position: Review scheduled Purchase Orders for incoming deliveries, compare information on purchase order to information on bill of lading and packing list, sign necessary paperwork to acknowledge receipt of delivery, record count, pack size and lot numbers on receiving ticket and record any discrepancies in count pack size or damage on bill of lading Store ingredients received in appropriate warehouse location, rotate stock according to first expired lot code Check daily production schedule, pull work order and record start time, refer to work orders for orders to be staged, verify weights and product numbers of ingredients pulled, record and verify lot numbers of ingredients on work order Pull daily orders, record lot numbers and piece count on picking ticket, verify product label, quantity, and weight of each product, palletize large shipments and affix proper pallet label Enter shipping information into computer for all UPS and/or FedEx shipments, inspect Truck Trailer to ensure product safety, cleanliness, etc. Requirements Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment 2 year computer experience/knowledge Preferred: High school diploma or two year technical college 2 years warehouse experience 2+ years food manufacturing experience 2+ years computer experience in Microsoft Suite and Google Forklift certified
