WAREHOUSE OPERATOR

Location: Fforestfach, Swansea
Times: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, Currently Dayshift, moving to Morning / afternoon shift.
Timeframe: Permanent

Due to an increase in demand, and our expansion plans, we are seeking a multi- talented team member to join our operations crew in the Warehouse Department.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • 2+ years experience in Warehouse environment
  • Fork Lift Truck experience
  • Day to day problem solving, with a can-do attitude
  • Ability to manually handle panels and products, with excellent manual dexterity.
  • Previous experience of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (min 2 years). Experience in plastics manufacturing is desirable but not essential
  • A quality mindset and take pride in the work you do, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • You will be used to working in a safety-first environment
  • A high energy level and target orientated
  • Computer literacy: Essential: MS Office (Word & Excel) (basic - intermediate level)
  • You must be flexible and adaptable, willing to perform other duties as and when required – we’re small and not defined by our job titles
  • The ability to work multiple different shift patterns
  • A team-focussed mindset with an ability to work on your own and in small teams
  • An interest in the environment and recycling is essential
Responsibilities
  • Quality checking of incoming manufactured product & materials
  • Supporting with inventory & stock takes, updating online stock sheets, where required
  • Operating machinery to produce recycled plastic materials ready for production: Operating the material shredder - to re-cycle materials, operating the blending mixer - to create materials for production, operating the granulating machine - to re-cycle materials for production
  • Ensuring materials/packaging etc. for daily production plans are at POU
  • Packing orders, as required
  • Carrying out habitual housekeeping
  • Hitting Warehouse targets, KPIs
  • Actively assisting with continual business improvement
  • Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations
  • Ability to follow strict processes and procedures
  • Eager to learn new skills
