Description Job Summary: The Warehouse Operator will be responsible for various tasks related to receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing goods while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Responsibilities: Receive incoming shipments, verify their contents, and inspect for damages. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) or other software to accurately record and track inventory levels. Sort, label, and appropriately store received goods in designated storage areas. Pick and pack orders according to established procedures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and proficiently. Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues or malfunctions. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse by following proper housekeeping protocols. Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer orders and meet shipping deadlines. Assist in conducting regular physical inventory counts and reconciling discrepancies. Prepare items for shipping, including packaging, labeling, and loading onto delivery vehicles. Maintain compliance with safety regulations and protocols, promoting a culture of safety awareness. Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and other departments as needed. Identify process improvement opportunities and actively contribute to operational enhancements. Participate in training sessions to stay updated on company policies, procedures, and industry trends. Requirements Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in logistics or warehousing is a plus. Prior experience as a warehouse operator or similar role is preferred. Valid forklift operator's license and demonstrated proficiency in operating warehouse equipment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management and order processing. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting and moving heavy objects. Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management software is advantageous. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Problem-solving mindset with the capacity to adapt to changing situations.
