ABOUT THE ROLE Job Summary: The warehouse assistant/operator will be responsible for ensuring inventory (raw materials, consumables, finished goods and other items) is processed, organized, and stored. Their main duties include operating forklifts, stackers, and other devices, loading and unloading equipment, and storing or relocating materials within the warehouse or factory. Responsibilities: Offloading of all inbound materials from Containers/ Pickups as soon as it arrives. Checking and verification of the shipments upon receipt / arrival in warehouse. If any discrepancy/Damage is found it should be informed to the Warehouse supervisor immediately. Check inventory after each Transaction and update Stock Bin Card Update logs and documentation for inventory processing Prepare Material Transfer to Factory as per the requests received from concerned departments In case of any Accident immediately inform Warehouse In-Charge. Stacking or piling materials in a safe manner at specified locations Ensure daily activities at the store run smoothly and there are no delays. Maintain the store is clean all the time. Always wear safety things defined Operate heavy machinery like forklifts to move or store inventory Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards from aisles. Work as an active team member to complete team goals. About You Qualification and Experience Diploma in stores Management or related field from a recognized institution. A minimum of 2+ years of experience as Store Assistant in a manufacturing environment is a plus. Valid license to operate forklift in a warehouse is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A ‘COC’ certification is a plus. Job Competencies Problem solving skills Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
