Job Title: Selector / Order Picker Company Introduction: G&C Food Distributors is a re-distributor of refrigerated, frozen, and dry food. Location: Alachua, FL Schedule: Sunday at 12pm start; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 4pm start. Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 Job Summary: As our warehouse order selector, you will operate a double pallet jack, use a handheld scanner to scan products out of inventory, and consistently lift cases between 30-70 lbs. on average. Preferred Position Qualifications and Expectations: * 6 months of previous warehouse experience preferred. * Experience in operation of Powered Industrial Equipment, including Riding Pallet Jack. * Able to read, write, and communicate effectively relating to the job and the safety regulations. * Strong problem solving, organization and time management skills. * Understand product, placement, and inventory control techniques and procedures. * Strong communication skills, motivation, and energy. * Ability to interact with all levels of management and staff. * Able to work rapidly at a constant pace for the entire shift, in a fast-paced environment.
