River Valley, a growing specialty foods and consumable products distributor in Syracuse, NY, is searching for full time Warehouse Selector. The River Valley family of companies: River Valley Foods, Cavallaro Foods and Empire Valley, distributes a wide range of specialty dry and frozen grocery items and consumable products out of warehouses in Syracuse, NY. Join a fast-growing distributor of specialty foods and non-consumable products. We’re looking for a safe, efficient and accurate Warehouse Selector to join our second shift team. Wages: * Starting rate of $20.00 per hour with increase up to $21.00 possible within 90 days Hours: * Scheduled for 4 days/week. 2:30PM – work is finished * Warehouse operates Saturday - Thursday (Fridays off) Essential Responsibilities: * Accurately and efficiently select products for customer orders * Operate a double-length pallet jack safely in a busy warehouse environment * Build stable pallets that are able to be transported with no damage * Work in both refrigerated and dry areas of the warehouse as needed * Be a positive and productive member of the team Key Skills: * Reliability and strong work ethic * Warehouse experience preferred, but not required * Ability to work on your feet for extended periods * Ability to lift 75 pounds repeatedly Requirements and Qualifications: * Must be at least 18 years old * Must be able to read and understand English in order to perform job requirements and understand supervisor instructions Benefits: * Flexible Paid Time Off + Company Paid Holidays * Health, Dental, and Prescription Coverage * Life & Disability Insurance * 401(k) with Company Match * Employee Assistance Program * Employee Purchase Discounts River Valley Holdings is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE)
