    Summary
    This position will be responsible for recording and maintaining accurate parts inventory in the warehouse, VPC line, and PIO locations, using Excel spreadsheets and the VELES & AMOS systems. Responsible for scanning and placing the appropriate parts into the vehicles as they come into PIO.

Responsibilities

  • Primary
  • Accurately record daily parts inventory counts in the warehouse, VPC line, and PIO locations
  • Use Microsoft Excel to record the parts inventory counts on given spreadsheets to send to management and suppliers
  • Report parts shortages/issues to the Parts Supervisor for further evaluation
  • Use the VELES inventory system (parts receiving, parts transfer, and parts adjustment) to make proper entries in order to maintain inventory accuracy
  • Use the proper receiving process for inventory counts for incoming shipments into the VELES and Mobis’ AMOS systems
  • Assist in PIO cage when needed
  • Secondary
  • Brochure inventory maintenance
  • Maintain proper inventory levels of all printed brochures and other relevant paper goods, including owner manuals
  • Notify the corresponding supplier for additional stock as needed
  • Tertiary
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills

  • Proficient PC skills - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, database management systems (VELES, AMOS)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, and highly organized

Education & Experience

  • HS Diploma/G.E.D. Required

Working and Environmental Conditions

This position works in a plant manufacturing/warehouse setting.
