Description Warehouse Picker The Warehouse Picker is responsible for accurately selecting, staging, and preparing beverage products for customer orders in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role ensures that products are picked correctly, handled safely, and prepared for timely delivery to customers. This position is Monday-Friday, working 2nd shift beginning at 1:00pm to whenever you are finished with picks for the day. You are paid an hourly rate + pick commission. First 30 days are paid at a flat hourly rate of $16.50. After training period is over you are flipped over to $13.00/hour + $0.05/per pick. Responsibilities Accurately pick beverage products (cases, bottles, cans) according to customer order sheets or RF scanning system. Build and stage pallets in a safe, organized manner for delivery routes. Verify product codes, quantities, and order accuracy before staging. Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or hand trucks safely. Follow company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area. Support general warehouse operations including housekeeping tasks. Requirements Requirements Qualifications, Knowledge/Skills and Abilities:?To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, including the following: Highschool diploma or GED equivalent Previous warehouse, distribution or order-picking experience is preferred Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures Basic math and reading skills for order verification Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Must obtain Pallet Jack and Forklift training & certification Physical Demands: This role requires regular standing, walking, reaching, and balancing, with occasional stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Employees must frequently lift and move up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 171 lbs, and may push or pull up to 1,500 lbs using a loaded hand truck on uneven surfaces or ramps. Forklift operation is required, along with safe use of all company equipment.
