We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Packer to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately packed and prepared for shipment. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality control.

SKILLS

• Experience in materials handling within a warehouse environment is essential.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems for inventory tracking is advantageous.
• Previous experience in shipping & receiving processes is beneficial.
• Strong background in picking & packing operations, with attention to detail.
• Ability to stock shelves efficiently and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Commitment to quality control practices to ensure product integrity.

• Accurately pick, pack, and label products for shipment according to order specifications.
• Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles and ensure proper handling of materials.
• Verify order accuracy by checking item numbers, quantities, and quality before packing.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying incoming shipments against packing lists.
• Maintain an organised and clean work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to avoid injury.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
• Assist with stock replenishment and inventory checks as required.
