WAREHOUSE PICKER / OPERATIVE

· Picking sales orders using a Hand Held Terminal (HHT) and Trolley on all 3 floors of the warehouse
· Tote marshalling on level 1 and 2 - organising and processing multi floor level totes and managing the flow of totes between the floors to ensure oldest orders are processed first
· Paper area management - Pick, cut and quality check paper before sending
· Advise the picking management team on any issues with picking bins regarding stock levels, barcodes, description labels and issues with stock.
· Housekeeping - ensure the picking areas are cleaned, tidied, and maintained according to health and safety best practice.

You will need…

• a good level of concentration
• to be able to stand on your feet all day
• to be physically fit as you will be pushing a trolley all day
• to be ok using basic steps and safety ladders to a height of 1.2m (4ft)
• to be capable to lift heavy boxes up to 30kg

Ideally have some experience in picking orders in a warehouse operation.
