WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE

We are looking for a temporary positive and industrious warehouse operative to join our friendly close knit team for a 3 month period from 8 Sep - 8 Dec 25. The ideal match for this role is someone with a proven track record in warehouse operations, with experience picking, packing, stock checking, order management, loading and unloading. The role best suits someone with a positive no-nonsense get-up-and-go attitude.

Typical tasks include:

• Working in a warehouse environment, picking and packing orders for dispatch.
• Using a forklift to pick large products from the racking.
• Loading and unloading materials.
• Manual handling small to big and bulky products.
• Carrying out quality checks on packaged items.
• Achieving the tasks set within agreed time.
• Communicating effectively with the team.
• Following instructions from the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Completing Forklift checklist
• Completing daily and weekly checklists for safety and maintenance.
• Adhering to strict health and safety rules and regulations throughout your shift.
• Assisting the stock manager with stock taking and stock level management.
• Cleaning and tidying of the warehouse and workshop areas. Ensuring the space remains organised and tidy.

DESIRABLE/PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Forklift Counter Balance or Combilift trained.
• History of working in a warehouse environment.
• Manual handling certificate, first aid and fire marshal.
