OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse / Production operative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks that ensure the efficient operation of our warehouse and production line. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring that products are prepared efficiently for painting and to the highest quality standards. This position requires a hands on individual with the ability to work with various tools and equipment. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
This is a part time role Monday to Wednesday 09:00-17:00. Generally split between mornings preparing wheels ready for painting and afternoons packing goods for dispatch.
Whilst Monday’s are essential, there may be some flexibility to vary the other days worked depending on the workload and situation.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for operating machinery effectively.
  • Familiarity with materials handling techniques is essential for efficient workflow.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required, with physical stamina to stand for extended periods.
  • Experience with shipping and receiving processes is beneficial.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills are crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks to move goods safely and efficiently.
  • Perform picking and packing of orders accurately, ensuring that all items are correctly selected and prepared for dispatch.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the warehouse to ensure cleanliness and organisation of materials.
  • De-bur, de-grease and vapor blast wheels ready for painting.
  • Process wheels through our pre-treatment system.
  • Handle heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
  • Collaborate with team members to build and organise pallets for storage or shipment.
  • Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
