Description The Warehouse Receiver is responsible for helping around Warehouse, assisting in various tasks day to day. This position will be Monday-Friday Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operates industrial forklift to unload/underload transports and rail cars. Assists in any necessary warehouse tasks assigned by the shift supervisor on duty. Stocks the front line when necessary. Assists with truck stripping when needed. Assists loading special event or drop trucks. Performs forklift safety inspection and fills out checklist (turns checklist in to supervisor). Verifies the proper rotation of product on a daily basis. Checks proper row identification for accuracy on a daily basis. Operates company equipment in a safe manner. Change forklift battery when necessary. Performs housekeeping tasks assigned by warehouse supervisors. Assists driver salesmen with reloads and unloads. Completes other assigned tasks as instructed by any warehouse supervisor on duty. Uses company equipment in a safe manner. Able to drive company vehicles in a safe manner on property. The employee must occasionally pull and/or push up to 1,500 pounds on a loaded 2/4-wheel hand truck on uneven surfaces and up delivery ramps. Working Conditions: The employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to extreme cold in coolers. The noise level is moderate.
