• Receives and unloads incoming shipments.
• Inspects received goods for accuracy, damage and discrepancies.
• Verifies received goods against purchase orders, packing slips and invoices.
• Records received goods in the ERP system.
• Transports and distributes goods to designated storage or production areas.
• Operates forklifts, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely to lift, move and arrange shipments.
• Organizes and maintains inventory in racks and shelves for easy access.
• Assists in cycle counts, stock rotation and inventory control activities.
• Ensures accurate labeling, tagging and documentation of received and stored materials.
• Collaborates with all departments to ensure timely receipt of goods.
• Responds to shipping/receiving enquiries and communicates with all departments.
• Supports shipping and staging outbound finished goods when required.
• Performs general warehouse maintenance.
• Supports “Lean” initiatives, as well as 5S programs in concert with production management.
• Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement in warehousing processes and implements best practices to optimize the use of resources and quality.
• Other duties as assigned.
