JOB TITLE: Warehouse Receiver Lead – AM EMPLOYER: Nackard Pepsi, Flagstaff, AZ DEPARTMENT: Warehouse & Operations REPORTS TO: Warehouse Manager EFFECTIVE DATE: Upon Hire POSITION: Full-Time, On-Site, Hourly (to be discussed in interview) SUMMARY: The Warehouse Receiver Lead – AM is responsible for leading the morning receiving operations while performing hands-on warehouse duties, including unloading deliveries, verifying incoming shipments, organizing inventory, and building loads for branch transfers. This position coordinates daily receiving activities, ensures inventory accuracy, maintains a safe and organized warehouse, and provides direction and support to warehouse team members to achieve productivity, quality, and customer service goals. SCHEDULE: * Monday–Friday, 4 AM until completion est. at 12:30 PM (30-minute lunch) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Leadership * Coordinate and oversee daily receiving and warehouse operations during the AM shift. * Assign daily workloads and prioritize receiving and warehouse tasks. * Provide training, coaching, and guidance to warehouse team members. * Monitor employee productivity, work quality, and adherence to company policies and safety procedures. * Assist with onboarding and training of new employees. * Communicate operational issues, inventory discrepancies, and staffing needs to the Warehouse Manager. * Collaborate with sales, delivery, and warehouse personnel to ensure efficient workflow. * Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and operational efficiency. Receiving & Warehouse Operations * Receive, inspect, verify, and unload incoming deliveries. * Compare received products against purchase orders and shipping documents for accuracy. * Identify and communicate shortages, damages, or receiving discrepancies. * Store inventory in designated warehouse locations while maintaining proper product rotation. * Organize and maintain warehouse inventory for efficient access and accurate counts. * Operate handheld computer systems, inventory software, forklifts, and electric pallet jacks. * Build accurate customer and route loads using forklifts and/or electric pallet jacks. * Select designated products and quantities according to pick lists and handheld instructions. * Stack products safely and securely while maintaining pallet stability. * Shrink-wrap completed pallets and stage them for loading. * Complete required receiving and shipping documentation accurately. * Turn completed paperwork in for verification before staging loads. * Unload returned product, pallets, and plastic flats. * Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety. * Assist with inventory counts and inventory control activities. * Ensure shipments and inventory transactions are completed accurately. * Perform other related duties as assigned by management. LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provides day-to-day leadership and work direction to warehouse employees during assigned shift. * Assists with employee training, scheduling of daily work assignments, and performance coaching. * Supports the Warehouse Manager in maintaining productivity, quality, and safety standards. * Does not have direct hiring, disciplinary, or termination authority. QUALIFICATIONS: * High school diploma or GED required. * One to three years of warehouse, receiving, logistics, or distribution experience preferred. * Previous lead or supervisory warehouse experience preferred. * Forklift experience required; in-house Forklift Certification provided. * Experience operating electric pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment preferred. * Working knowledge of warehouse receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment processes. * Experience using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems. * Computer proficiency with: * Inventory Software (Easy Ops/VIP or similar) * Database Software (ADP) * Microsoft Outlook * Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment. * Positive work history with reliable attendance. * Ability to successfully complete background investigation and drug screening. * Available to work extended hours during seasonal business demands.
