Description Position Summary The Receiver/Replenisher is responsible for accurate physical receiving of products, maintaining the integrity of inventory control. Duties and Responsibilities Inspect all incoming trucks in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Print required reports, license plates/receiving labels Unload truck and inspect the condition of goods received; count and compare to vendor pack list; accept or reject shipment Move product to appropriate stock bin, cooler, freezer, dry Check expiration dates and rotate inventory, as required Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with other employees, supervisors and managers. Maintains safe work environment according to all department procedures, federal and state regulations Wears personal protective Equipment as necessary for the job Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintain clean shipping supply area; comply with procedures, rules, and regulations Working Conditions Ability to move/lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to withstand cool/cold temperatures in a typical food warehouse environment Position spends 6 - 8 hours standing, walking, lifting, pulling and pushing Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
