Position Summary Brumark Total Flooring Solutions is seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Recycling Technician to support our recycling operations. This role is responsible for handling flooring materials, operating a baler machine, and assisting with loading and unloading recyclable products. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, physically capable, reliable, and experienced in operating a forklift within a fast-paced warehouse environment. Day in the Life As a Warehouse Recycling Technician, your day begins with a safety check and a quick team alignment to review daily priorities. You will start by unloading incoming materials such as carpet, padding, and other flooring products, ensuring they are properly sorted and staged for recycling. Throughout the day, you will operate baler machinery to compress recyclable materials, monitoring equipment performance and performing basic maintenance as needed to maintain efficiency. You will also be responsible for properly stacking, bundling, and organizing baled materials for storage or transport. This is a hands-on, physically active role requiring frequent lifting, moving, and staging of materials. You will regularly operate a forklift to transport materials throughout the warehouse and assist with loading and unloading trucks. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment is a key part of your daily responsibilities. You will follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements while working around heavy equipment in a fast-paced industrial setting. At the end of your shift, you will help ensure the recycling area is clean, organized, and ready for the next day playing a critical role in supporting both operational efficiency and Brumark’s commitment to sustainability.
