Position Overview The Warehouse Replenishment Associate at Kristen Distributing Company plays a crucial role in preparing the warehouse for daily operations by ensuring that all picking bins are fully stocked and ready for order selection. This position is responsible for moving product from backstock into designated picking locations and dropping down inventory throughout the day as needed. The role requires both physical handling of product and accurate transactional updates in Encompass to reflect inventory movement. Replenishment is completed before order selectors arrive and continues throughout the day to maintain uninterrupted order fulfillment. Key Responsibilities Your essential duties will include: Bin Replenishment: Restock bin locations in the picking area using product from backstock before order selectors arrive for the day Inventory Movement: Drop down additional product in the picking area throughout the day to maintain adequate stock levels System Transactions: Accurately complete replenishment movements in Encompass to ensure real-time inventory accuracy Backstock Monitoring: Monitor backstock levels and identify replenishment needs to avoid delays in picking operations Warehouse Coordination: Communicate with warehouse leads and supervisors regarding product availability or inventory concerns Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including bin locations and backstock zones Lifting & Handling: Safely lift and move products up to 50 lbs. while following proper handling techniques and safety protocols Breaker Assistance: Support the breakers team during high-volume periods or when additional help is required to ensure timely and accurate product repacking Order Checking: Assist the Quality Assurance team with checking built orders for accuracy, completeness, and quality standards Order Building: Step in to help build customer orders when needed to support the team and meet delivery schedules Other Duties: Demonstrate flexibility and initiative by performing other job-related tasks as assigned to support warehouse operations Benefits We value the dedication of our employees and offer an enticing range of benefits to ensure your well-being and satisfaction. Qualifications To be considered for this position, candidates should possess: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous warehouse experience preferred, especially in inventory handling or order preparation Demonstrated forklift operating experience required; must obtain company-issued forklift certification upon hire Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems; experience with Encompass is a plus Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring frequent standing, bending, and reaching Commitment to following safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organized work environment Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
