Job Title: Parts Warehouse Representative  Department: Parts  Reports To: Parts Manager FLSA Status: Non-exempt Prepared By: HR   SUMMARY   Performs needed shipping and receiving tasks and assists with tasks in the parts warehouse.    ESSENTIAL DUTIES   Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.   * Runs paperwork needed to check in stock and special order parts every morning.  * Prints special order tags daily and tags special order parts to distribute to the counterman that ordered them.  * Separates stock and special order parts.  * Puts away stock order parts.  * Sends and receives parts, letters, and packages for the dealership. * Posts parts throughout the day from A&L, Full Service, Ford AER, etc.  * Prints Ford Warranty communication daily.  * Locates warranty parts and arranges for their return.  * Locates and returns parts for the Parts Inventory Protection Program.   * Assists in dispatching the parts delivery drivers. * Maintains the parts warehouse.  * Loads and unloads delivery and freight trucks.  * Operates forklift.  * Logs incoming and outgoing items.    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position has no supervisory responsibilities.   QUALIFICATIONS   To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. LANGUAGE SKILLS   Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and situations to clients and other employees of the organization. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS   Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.   REASONING ABILITY   Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.     CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS   Valid Driver's License   PHYSICAL DEMANDS   The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
