Position: Warehouse Shift Lead
Location: Ontario, CA
Shift: 2nd Shift
Employement Type: Full-Time | Temp to Hire
Now hiring warehouse Shift Lead for a recycling, and waste management solutions company. We value safety, integrity, and innovation—and we’re looking for a shift lead who shares our commitment to operational excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred
  • 3+ years of warehouse or manufacturing experience, preferably in environmental services, recycling or waste management
  • 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Forklift certification and familiarity with HAZWOPER protocols preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in PPE and follow strict safety guidelines
  • Comfortable with physical labor and lifting up 50 lbs.

Shift: 2nd

  • Monday to Friday 1 PM - 9:30 PM
  • Must be available to work overtime as needed
  • Must be available to work Saturdays

Responsibilities
  • Supervise warehouse operations during assigned shift, ensuring safe and efficient handling of materials
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments
  • Lead and train warehouse staff on safety protocols, PPE usage, and regulatory compliance (e.g., DOT, EPA, OSHA)
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
  • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and segregation of materials per environmental regulations
  • Collaborate with logistics and compliance teams to meet project timelines and documentation standards
  • Conduct routine inspections and support corrective actions for safety and quality issues
  • Serve as point of contact for shift-related concerns and escalate issues appropriately
