Job Description Joining the team as a Warehouse Shift Manager, you will be responsible for managing the warehouse teams whilst motivating employees. Ensuring all aspects of Health & Safety within the Warehouse are maintained and product is picked and dispatched to the highest standard in order to meet set KPI’s. Working hours: Sunday to Thursdays / Monday to Friday, 22.00-06.00 Key Duties of a Warehouse Shift Manager: Leading a team of Team Leaders and General Warehouse Operatives in their daily workload. Ensuring that orders are picked, marshalled, unloaded and loaded in line with Customer specifications. Carry out daily inspections of the work place. Complete and Carry out Personal Development Plans for all members of their team. Ensure that a high standard of Health & Safety is adhered within the working environment. Communicating regularly with Team Leaders/Senior Managers regarding any issues that may arise within the warehouse. Manage the team’s performance in line with KPI’s as required. Adhere to Hygiene policy ensuring that the companies waste management program is adhered too and that we remain BRC compliant. Ensure that is adequate support for the picking, marshalling, cleaning, goods-in, pallet checking teams at all times. Qualifications Previous warehouse operational experience. Experience of managing, supporting and motivating a large team Proven experience of all aspects of people management including probationary, attendance, performance and disciplinary matters. Experience of managing teams and prioritising a tight and challenging workload Knowledge and experience of safe working practice inclusive of all Health and Safety elements. Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure Good IT skills, Microsoft packages and WMS. Previous 3PL experience is highly advantageous.
