Responsibilities

You will be part of a supportive team, led by the Warehouse Shift Manager working with colleagues who will help you settle in, find your way around and show you the ropes.

As a Warehouse Team Leader your main tasks and duties will be:

  • Driving the performance of the returns process/FIFO ingredients/pallet rotation, cycle count processes and audits. Automating equipment, data and function to minimise impact on supply requirements or OEE performance and customer service levels attainment.
  • Auditing all monitoring systems required by the Company to ensure compliance with Company Policies/Procedures/Standards and identifying and implementing corrective actions.
  • Managing non-conformance processes and corrective action activities to ensure compliance with Company Policies/Procedures/Standards.
  • Competent at completing traceability exercises and supporting role in internal audit activities and new product trials.
  • Motivate and manage people activities to meet team performance targets and required Company Standards. Identify development areas relating to skills, behaviours and competencies and implementing team development plans.
  • Participation in Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing activities including leading short interval control and root cause analysis assessments.
  • Working as a key member of the Site Supply Leadership Team, demonstrating Company Values and flexibility to support other teams/departments where required.
  • Leading the delivery of key performance indicators for the Factory linked to Safety, Quality, People, Delivery, and Cost Standards.
  • Pro-actively identifying areas for continuous improvement within the production work environment/equipment/systems.
  • Demonstrating a willingness to develop within the role to achieve Excellent Competency Levels.
