REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Understanding of shipping and receiving procedures, including order verification, packing, labelling, and selecting appropriate shipping methods.
• Familiarity with inventory control practices, including stock verification, damage reporting, and system entry.
• warehouse and/or distribution center experience.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Routinely lifts or moved materials in the 25-50 lb range as part of daily responsibilities.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
• Frequent use of hands and arms to handle, move, and position materials.
• Regular interaction with forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• This role is based in a fast-paced warehouse environment where safety, accuracy, and efficiency are critical.
• Operate in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and physical demands.

JOB PURPOSE:

Nikon Metrology is seeking an initiative-taking Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Specialist who will be responsible for processing inbound and outbound shipments while ensuring the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of inventory movement.

GENERAL DUTIES

• Maintain clean and organized warehouse conditions.
• Drive to various locations to pick up or deliver materials as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

ANCILLARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide support in other maintenance areas during staff shortages or absences.
• Occasionally work extra hours or weekends as requested by supervisor.
