OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer/Shipper to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our warehouse distribution operations, ensuring that products are accurately packed and shipped to meet customer demands. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse processes, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate various equipment safely and efficiently.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in warehouse distribution or related fields is preferred.
• Familiarity with mechanical operations and heavy equipment operation is a plus.
• Experience with order picking processes and shipping & receiving protocols is essential.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems will be beneficial for managing inventory effectively.
• Candidates should possess skills in operating forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, or similar machinery safely.

• Accurately pack products for shipment, ensuring all items are secure and meet quality standards.
• Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage shipping processes.
• Load and unload products from trucks using forklifts, clamp trucks, or cranes as necessary.
• Perform order picking tasks, selecting items based on customer orders with attention to detail.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency in the warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely shipping and receiving of goods.
• Assist in heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
