Description

Anchor Construction Industrial Products is a leading wholesaler of anchors, fasteners, power tools & accessories and safety products in Western Canada. Through our 6 branches, we’ve been providing customers with products and solutions for over 50 years.
We are currently looking for an experienced shipper/receiver for our Saskatoon location. The right candidate will have experience in all warehouse and inventory functions from front to back.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or GED required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Warehouse and/or industry related experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills. Able to learn and use in-house software applications.
  • Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Great organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Able to work from verbal and written instructions.
  • Able to work accurately with numbers and fractions.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outgoing personality, easy to work with, exemplary time and attendance
  • Able to lift +/-50 lbs. repeatedly

Responsibilities
  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Receive incoming shipments, fill customer orders, put inventory into stock locations.
  • Check all packaging for damage and compare, count and verify information on packing slips.
  • Complete bills of lading, packing slips, address labels, etc.
  • Communicate with Supervisor to resolve discrepancies as needed.
  • Transfer goods to and from Branch locations.
  • Follow safety procedures and practices.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Operate a forklift, order picker.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.
