Description AD Chemco is looking to hire a shipping, receiving, and fulfillment associate for our Jerome location. Must have experience in inventory control, shipping/receiving, and order picking. Excellent computer skills are required. Applicants must be detail oriented, self-driven, and team players. Responsibilities: Must be able to accurately count and receive incoming freight using inventory software. Can operate a forklift daily to pick and put away freight. Manage incoming will call orders. Maintain accurate inventory of incoming and outgoing products. Work with satellite locations to ensure timely delivery of their orders. Perform inventory audits. Use software to accurately reflect inventory. Other Responsibilities: Provide administrative support when needed. Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization. Other duties as assigned or as necessary. Organizational Responsibilities: Keep up to date on latest trends and changes in the industry and areas of responsibility by attending internal and external training classes and other events when available. Identifies areas for improvement and offers suggestions to improve efficiency and productivity. Must have a high school diploma, GED, or an employment history that demonstrates the required skills needed for the job. Demonstrate the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to comprehend and complete required documents, answer customer questions, and provide management support. Exceptional customer service skills are a must. Possess a sense of urgency, have great organizational skills, professional presence, and work in a team environment. Will represent the company in a dependable and professional manner. Has the ability to work independently with little supervision when necessary. Preferred Qualifications: Applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Microsoft Business Central and Power BI experience are a plus. Physical Demands: Applicants must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to fifty (50) pounds independently and one hundred (100) pounds with assistance. Must be able to pass a physical agility test. Must be able to pass a background and drug test. Applicants must be able to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods of time. Working Conditions: Applicants will work in the warehouse or office where temperatures vary between 50 to 75 degrees.
Responsibilities
The agent is responsible for accurately receiving incoming freight, managing inventory via software, and operating a forklift for picking and put-away. They also coordinate with satellite locations to ensure timely delivery and maintain warehouse organization.
