OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations, including experience with materials handling, stocking, and shipping & receiving however training will be given. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to operate various warehouse equipment. A solid understanding of warehouse management systems and mechanical knowledge will be advantageous.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is essential
• Familiarity with materials handling techniques and equipment
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) consistently throughout the shift
• Experience in dangerous goods shipping would be beneficial but not mandatory
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated

• Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring safe handling and storage
• Pick and pack orders accurately for shipment
• Maintain an organised warehouse environment, ensuring all materials are stored correctly
• Operate warehouse machinery safely and efficiently
• Utilise warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage stock
• Assist with shipping & receiving tasks, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation
• Conduct regular stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy
• Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow within the warehouse
