Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm (flexibility for overtime when required)

Position Overview
Fuze HR is currently recruiting for a full-time Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to join our client’s growing team in Toronto (Scarborough). Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, this is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing day-to-day shipping and receiving operations. The successful candidate will bring strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills to ensure smooth warehouse operations, accurate inventory control, and timely, high-quality shipments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and product quality.
  • Lead and support a small team of Material Handlers and Forklift Operators while promoting a safe, positive, and productive workplace.
  • Plan, schedule, and assign daily tasks to meet production and delivery commitments.
  • Collaborate with Warehouse Manager, Project Managers, and QA teams to achieve operational objectives.
  • Accurately maintain and reconcile shipping, receiving, and delivery records within company systems.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, customer quality agreements, and regulatory standards.
  • Provide training, coaching, and performance reviews to develop team members.
  • Partner with HR on staffing needs, recruitment, and hiring recommendations.
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy for consumables and components.
  • Enforce GMP standards and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and corrective actions where necessary.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education is an asset.
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in shipping & receiving or warehouse operations.
  • Proven experience handling, receiving, storing, and shipping materials.
  • Valid driver’s license and certification for forklift, reach truck, counterbalance, or walkie.
  • Knowledge of GMP standards; willingness to learn new tools and equipment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, resolve conflicts, and hold team members accountable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP or Nulogy/Pack Manager experience is an asset.
  • Physically capable of meeting the demands of a warehouse environment.
