Description

We are looking for an experienced warehouse & shipping specialist who is passionate about creating a clean and organized work environment. While working with our team to make sure that our customers have amazing experiences, every time they open a package from Music City Canada.
You must be able to keep the entire warehouse clean at all times and be able to make sure that things are put away in the right locations. Be a self starter with cleaning and managing locations in the warehouse. While also making sure that all shipments that can leave sameday do leave and not leaving stuff for the next day where there is still time to pack it.
Please confirm in your application if you have experience with Musical Instruments & Sound Systems. This is not a must, but is preferred.

· Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)
· Print, Pull, Weigh & Pack All incoming Online Orders
· Load orders onto various shipping trucks
· Using Forklift, Pallet Jack & By Hand, Load and Unload Shipping Company Trucks
· Open, Count, Verify & Receive in to the system all incoming goods & shipments
· Operate various types of equipment including Forklift, RF Scanners and Pallet Jacks.
· Meet productivity standards for the department.
· Responsible for maintaining safety and housekeeping standards in the department.
· Must demonstrate flexibility to work in other areas as determined by work volume.
· Work effectively and communicate and relate well with others and maintain effective and constructive working relationships.
· Miscellaneous duties as assigned by Manager
· Job requirements include:
· Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
· Must be able to read and write English and perform simple arithmetic.
· Must have aptitude to work with computer systems and properly identify, retrieve, move, and secure product for storage or shipment.
· Must possess a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and efficiency when processing orders for storage or shipment.
· Must be well organized and able to address changing priorities.
· Must demonstrate a high level of initiative and ability to work independently without constant supervision, as well as part of the team.
· Must have strong communication skills and be able to effectively communicate detailed information to drivers and staff in all departments.
· Must demonstrate a positive attitude and support for company goals.
The physical demand typically applied in this job includes: lifting, pulling, reaching, carrying, pushing, standing, walking, stooping, and bending.
