JOB PURPOSE:
Administer and coordinate the communication for shipping and receiving. Replenish raw materials and coordinate transportation to the site. Prepare shipping documentation and fulfill all shipping requirements. Correct errors and ensure that accurate raw material inventory quantities are maintained and identified. The key interface among raw material planner, external warehouse, production, and tote cleaning company to ensure a coordinated and efficient process is used in managing shipping and receiving.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Coordinate with production on raw material impact due to ad-hoc changes of scheduling
· Review raw material inventory and replenish as required while optimizing space at the site
· Coordinate transportation between external warehouse and the site
· Audit arrival materials and take necessary actions to escalate and resolve discrepancies
· Perform receiving transactions and maintain up-to-date inventory or in SAP/Plex/ Epicor
· Achieve documents and ensure accuracy of all documentations for audit purposes
· Coordinates the site cycle count program. Makes inventory adjustments during the reconciliation process as needed
· Involve in departmental inventory reduction initiatives
· Investigates any material balances remaining in the material staging category after batch completion and executes the necessary system transactions to resolve Missing-in-action (MIA) materials
· Support the audit of tote movements to and from a tote cleaning company
· Review and prepare the ship list for finished goods to external warehouse and customers
· Print shipping documents
· Assist with tote dressing expediting outbound turnaround process, and optimizing staging area utilization
· Back-up to the Shipping and Receiving Specialist position at the site
